jim nichols Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 Assuming an autofocus zoom lens, I would suggest selecting Aperture Mode, setting the aperture to about f/8, and using the wide end of the zoom range. Select an ISO high enough to give a decent shutter speed, and try to get them all gathered in as nearly one plane as seems possible. I have had good results outdoors with my E-510 at ISO 800, and even at 1600. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
manut Posted July 24, 2008 Share Posted July 24, 2008 To add on the above. - Make sure all 3 auto focus points are selected. - If you can have all the people in a staright line facing you, the focus on any one will be good enough.
