rfdphoto
hey everyone. Please excuse me as I know very little about flashes and lighting. I have a Canon 30D and am interested in trying to learn about Flash and light. Will the Vivitar Auto Focus ZOOM 736AFNi 67 Flash work with a Canon 30D? Also, I'm assuming this is a TTL judging on the red sensor on the bottom of the flash. is this correct? Thanks for any help!<div></div>
JosvanEekelen
Just did a quick Google search, the 736AFNi seems to be Nikon dedicated. It will not work in TTL mode, perhaps it has Auto-mode that you can use. The red thingy is probably not a sensor but an auxiliary light for low light situations. Search the archives and www.photonotes.org for more details about Canon flash.
