FLASH BRACKET

I am using a SB600 Speedlight on a Nikon D50. I would like to use a flash

bracket to get better lighting when capturing vertical images with my equipment,

any suggestions?

Spend a bit more and get the SB-800 speedlight. And you will also need a cord to connect the speedlight and the camera.

The SB800 was an option. But, I decided to put any extra money that I had into higher quality lenses instead of a flash that I rarely use.

Ditto the CB Junior. I handled all the Stroboframes and a few others. It's among the best, if not the best, of the flip brackets for around $100 or less. I've used mine for weddings, indoor social events and school basketball and volleyball games. Works great.

 

Be sure to wrap the cord around the upright part of the CB Junior to minimize the risk of it being damaged in the hinged joint when quickly flipping back for horizontals. I use a couple of pieces of tape and rubber bands with my SC-29 cord to prevent damage. Some folks prefer to have their cords custom shortened but I like my cords full length for more versatility.
