I took the pics during my 1st and 2nd tries at an in home make shift studio using a black sheet as a backdrop.I am just looking for any advice and feedback. wigwam jones Posted March 21, 2007 Share Posted March 21, 2007 Very nice. That one with the boy and the teddy (19) struck me as not as good as the others - didn't like the composition. And the one with the soft focus - to me, it seemed overdone - a light touch would be better. This is just opinion, for what it may be worth. I have no particular qualifications. phoneguy Posted March 21, 2007 Share Posted March 21, 2007 You culd try getting a little less light on the back drop, or raise the black levels in ps. I can see hints of a wrinkled backdrop in there. steve_lowther Posted March 25, 2007 Share Posted March 25, 2007 The next light you should invest in is an overhead hair light. This will help dark hair from disappearing into the background.
