Firmware update jump from 1.1.0 to 2.0.7? (5d II)

<p>Hi !<br /> My 5d Mark II still has the 1.1.0 firmware. <br /> The Canon Japan site says that I can download version 2.0.7 but the Canon USA site says it's called 1.0.7.<br /> Which one is the correct and is it the latest?</p>

<p>Can I just go ahead and install the latest version on top of 1.1.0 or do I have to update them all, one after the other? (This might be a stupid question, but I just want to be very sure).<br /> Thank you:-)</p>

<p>The first link is a somewhat outdated service notice. This is from the second link:</p>

<p>"The Version 2.0.7 firmware being released this time is for cameras with firmware up to Version 2.0.4."</p>

<p>You should be able to install it with no problem...</p>

You don't have to install all the past firmware updates, just the latest 2.0.7 will suffice. Make sure you carefully follow the directions as you sound like your new to the updating firmware process.

Yes I never did it before, but I read the "totorial" for it and it looks ok..<br>
