Film Camera Weekend for May 26

Recommended Posts

Time to get going for our weekend thread. Three (more or less) images from your film camera. Feel free to continue posting images even after the weekend is over.

I'll start with some images from my Rollie B35. This roll stayed in the camera for several months (unusual for me), but I developed and scanned it earlier this week.

One from mid-spring. The film was Ilford FP4+ for these images.

Erko - you acheived what I've tried many times with your shot of the bridge. The bike against the wall sculpture is also good.

'No secret I have a fondness for old metal. All except last one are w/ HP5 - last is PanF from a 500cm, either 80mm or 50.

3-cly Fairbanks-Morse gasoline engine - that uses steam pressure to start it. This or a steam 'donkey' is used to turn...

I posted this shot a couple weeks ago so you will have to forgive me. I purchased the Silverfast 8.8 SE program for my Epson V600 today and this is my first scan from it. The Epson Scan had to many glitches for me. The program is $49.00 from Silverfast for the stand alone cheap version which this is. I did a demo version yesterday and it took me like 3 hrs to figure out how the batch scan thing worked. The problem with it taking so long is they provide a movie for the program on the demo but it is for the AI version ($300.00) and not any help so I just had to click away until I figured it out. Anyway so far I like it and I will learn it's various features over time.

The photo is Saint Francis (statue) in my back yard. The statue is just the regular garden size that I bought in the Garden center a while back. It holds bird seed and has a thing for water.. My wife likes to have birds around all the time and unfortunately so does the cat.

A great selection of images, so far! Here are some from a Kiev 88CM with a 50mm CZJ Flektogon f/4 lens. The film was Ilford HP5 Plus developed in PMK Pyro. I'll post a few from a more modern camera a little later.

Here's a couple from this morning's bike ride. Minolta SRT SCII with 55mm f1.7 MC Rokkor with yellow (K2) filter.

Fence

My ten mile (approximately) ride took me to a closed road. Rather than double back I elected to walk my bike across the close road. A little muddy, but passable.

Bert - very nicely captured chrome on the bicycle.

Thanks! Very lovely example of a vintage two wheeler!
