Xícara de Café
Have been doing some experiments making colour images from filtered monochrome (red, green and blue filters) in Gimp. The 1st photo was taken on a tripod. A powered paraglider appeared on the green filter shot. The second is a hand held version from the same position. The third is a simulation of a triple exposure on each filter (colour separated layers duplicated twice in Gimp and rotated and displaced a little). The 4th image was taken on a tripod with a slight breeze shifting the hanging leaves. And lastly an 8-exposure handheld frame. Xícara de Café
Sorry for posting such large images above, they are slowing down this thread. It was a mistake. I've asked for the post to be removed.
m42dave
A couple of photos take in July with a Kiev 4AM, Helios-103, ColorPlus 200, skylight filter. I wanted to test a Helios-103 against the Jupiter-8M I already have, and my conclusion is that there is little difference between the two. The Helios is a bit more flare-prone and seems to have slightly cooler colors, so I have passed it on and kept the 8M. Navajo Lake, NM, which also extends into southern Colorado. Lake levels were higher this year due to the heavy snowmelt in the mountains. Marina Edited September 5, 2019 by m42dave
m42dave
Haviland Lake, CO. The big 416 Fire last summer was right across the road from here, but firefighting efforts spared the lake area and nearby homes. Lakeside Morning
m42dave
My Jupiter-8M is an uncommon version with the same barrel style as the Helios-103, just a bit smaller. According to Sovietcams.com, this version was made only in 1981 for the Bulgarian market. That's it for photos right now--I don't expect to have any film ready for processing until next month.

rick_drawbridge
A few from a walkabout with a Contax RTS with a 50mm Carl Zeiss Planar T f/1.7 lens. The film was Arista EDU 100 developed in PMK Pyro. I seem to have been making the most of my preoccupation with bare branches, before the onset of Spring. Xícara de Café
Some black and whites from the same roll of Tri-X and using a more gentle agitation in development as recommended by Rick. 1st and last photo with Nikkor-S Auto 50mm 1:1.4 and the middle photo with a Micro-Nikkor 55mm 1:2.8 Ais. rick_drawbridge
Looking good, Xicara, especially the sky tones in the palm tree image. Infinitely subtle...

Organized chaos, same camera and film, but 50mm f2 Summicron. Different angle on the Calatrava Bridge leading into downtown Dallas. M6 and Portra 160, but the 21mm f3.4 Super Elmar this time. Xícara de Café
Aren't the trees in your last frame members of the palm family? Gosh, yes, they certainly are. I think I'd looked on my phone before and this photo didn't load. Thanks!
rick_drawbridge
Thanks Xicara, I thought I might be having hallucinations, for a moment. Is anyone else having trouble viewing Photonet using Firefox? For me, the pages just keep re-loading and won't open properly, so I'm working with Edge. Anyway, here are some frames from the Bronica S2a; we had a few hours of fine weather yesterday afternoon but now the rain has returned, probably for at least a couple more days. Very frustrating for we photographers. The lens used for these was my favourite, the 135mm Nikkor-Q f/3.5, and the film was Ilford HP5 Plus developed in PMK Pyro. m42dave
No issues viewing PN with Firefox, but everything seems slow with it right now. I think they've been doing some big updates.
Don Harpold
Yes every once in awhile it keeps "reloading" just log out and log back in and that seems to take care of it.
Xícara de Café
I think I caused the problem by accidentally loading large files on my first post. I reported my post and asked for it to be removed but it's still there. Sorry. I think though the site admin should reinstate an upload limit as it no longer seems to exist
