Film Camera Week for September 13

Recommended Posts

Greetings all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you want from any film camera. I'll start with some from my Minolta SRT 100 with 55mm f 1.9 MC Rokkor. Film was Tri-X processed in HC110 dilution H. As an experiment I took a silver oxide cell and rubbed both sides with a number two pencil. This seems to have brought the voltage down a little. Likely results might vary but I'll try it with my Konica gear next.

I've developed the 11 rolls that I shot over last week during the September Odyssey trip for the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Belgium.

And I've scanned about half of them already, but I've not gotten round to actually processing the scans to share yet :(

And I still have 20 sheets of 4x5" to develop, scan and process as well.

So, here's one from Militracks last may

Here are some frames from Minolta 7000i using the reputable 35-70mm Minolta AF Zoom f/4 lens. The film was Kentmere 100 developed in PMK Pyro. I seem to be on a Minolta binge, with a rather nice old Minolta 7000 with the lauded Minolta 35-105mm f/3.5-4.5 lens having arrived last week. Putting these through their paces is now on my weekend agenda and I hope to post some results a little later.

Some frames from a newly-acquired Minolta Maxxum 7000 with the original Minolta AF 35-105 f/3.5-4.5 lens. This is the first film I've run through this outfit; I much prefer the original Minolta 7000 to the later more curvaceous models with the card slots and other bells and whistles. It's a nice solid, reliable camera with all the controls I need. I bought the outfit principally because I wanted the lens, and from first impressions I think it lives up to it's high reputation. The film was Ilford FP4 Plus, developed in PMK Pyro.

Nice work with the Maxxum 7000 and 35-105 Maxxum lens. This first generation Maxxum zoom along with its sibling, the 28-85, were well-made, good performing lenses. I still have a 35-105. The later i series 35-105 was more compact and focused a bit faster, but it didn't quite have the performance of the original 35-105. Of course, the famous "beer can" zoom (70-210 f 4) was part of that series as well.
