Film Camera Week for October 9

Discussion in 'Classic Manual Cameras' started by Mike Gammill, Oct 8, 2020.

  1. Greetings all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. Tech data always welcome. I'll start with some images from a roll of Kentmere 100 that I processed and scanned a few days ago.
late afternoon in West Point near walkway, Maxxum 8000i with Maxxum 35-70 f 4
Time of day worked well since it was dark enough for lights to be turned on, but still enough light to see walkway and street
    mid afternoon shadows, same gear
late afternoon parking lot, Barnes Crossing area, same gear
    side lighting, 8000i with Maxxum 100-200 f 4.5
insurance office, same gear, spot metering used to ovoid overexposing interior
The i series Maxxums used honeycomb metering (six segments I think) which favored the part of the frame the camera focused on. Spot metering selected the center honeycomb only.
    One more
    art and antiques, same gear
Looking forward to seeing everyone's images.
