time exposure, streetlights normal

One of the streetlights (high pressure sodium) is in failure mode so it is cycling on and off. Next image is between cycles.

failure mode

Eventually as the sodium is depleted the lamp will briefly light as the mercury for starting the arc will light the lamp for a minute or so and then go out.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's images.

A few from my Toyo 45 Field and Oska 120mm lens. All shots Delta 100 in Rodinal.

The first is from a scanned contact print. (wish I saw that limo drive by.)

Next is a Studebaker pickup in a lot not all that far from the house. V700 scan

Detail I am getting with the V700 set to 2400 on 4x5 film.

I've had a stash of 1982-expired Panatomic-X Pro (FXP 120) in my freezer for quite a few years now and thought about selling it off to free up some freezer space. But before I did that, I thought I'd try a roll just to see how it worked out. So in it went to my Yashica Mat 124G at the outdoor train and locomotive exhibit, old town Sacramento. This locomotive detail was shot while the camera was stabilized on a railing, exposed at ISO 25, HC-110B.

The film base showed absolutely no evidence of fog whatsoever, as if it was still fresh. I guess I won't be selling it!

I would keep it if it were mine.

I don't have anything too recent, still awaiting my latest scans from a lab on some film from a couple weekends ago. meanwhile here's another from the expired roll of Agfa apx25... kinda flare-y and artifact-y but I like it. I also seem drawn to repeating shapes, maybe I need some symmetry?

I really like seeing those old Kodachromes, JDM.

Allancobb, I second James' recommendation about the 120 Panatomic-X. I still have one roll of FXP in cold storage plus about a dozen rolls of 35mm FX and part of a bulk load left.

James- beautiful kitten. What's her name?

Great start everyone for our new thread, Looking forward to seeing more photos this weekend. I have a roll of FP4+ that I finished earlier in the week to develop and scan so I'll share those when I can.
