Film Camera Week for October 13

Discussion in 'Classic Manual Cameras' started by Mike Gammill, Oct 12, 2017.

  1. Time to start our next thread. As many photos as you like from your film camera. I'll start with a few.
I think I might have used this one a few years back.

Harned Hall, Pentax 50mm macro, either MX or ZX-5

    Above from Eastman 5222

  7. I've been scanning some old slides. This was taken at a camera show in 1965 with a Yashica Penta J, its 50mm f/2 Auto Yashinon semi-automatic lens, and home-processed Anscochrome.

The camera appears to be a Pentax of some kind, so presumably the big lens is a (1,000mm?) Takumar.

  10. Erko, if the "Big Folder" is a neon sign, please, please show us what it looks like at night ! or tell me where it is so I can visit it !! Thanks, Bill
  11. Lovely work with the Nikon and the Kentmere, Erko. Rather a mixed bag from me, due to some very restrictive weather, but a fine weekend is promised so I'll try to create a few more contributions a little later. First, a couple of frames from the surprisingly competent Agfa Isola II, using Iford HP5 Plus developed in PMK Pyro.

I managed to get out with the Mamiya 645 1000s for a couple of hours this week in an attempt to capture some of the very changeable skies. The lens was the 55-110mm Mamiya Sekor f/4.5 fitted with an orange filter, the film was Bergger Pancro 400 developed in PMK Pyro, and the scans are from an Epson V700.

  14. M4, Summilux, Fomapan 200, Diafine. WaitingGreenLIne.jpg
  15. Mention of the good ol' Yashica Electro 35 GSN in several recent threads prompted me to blow the dust off one and load up some Arista EDU Ultra 100. I haven't used the camera for a couple of years and I'd forgotten just what a reliable and user-friendly camera it is, though I hadn't forgotten the quality of that 45mm Color-Yashinon DX f/1.7 lens... I'll post some samples, since things seem a little slow this weekend; the film was developed in PMK Pyro and scanned on an Epson V700 Photo using Silverfast SE software.

  17. Not liking the Ferrania P-30 shot at box speed (EI80) and souped in HC-110 as per Ferrania's instructions. Negatives come out way too thin.

    Opting for EI50 next....develop for 4.5 minutes.

Oh. Euh.... Leica M3, Leitz 50mm f/3.5 Elmar.
