Film Camera Week for October 11

Recommended Posts

Greetings all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. I'll start with some photos that I processed and scanned yesterday,

sidewalk with shadows, Starkville, Minolta SRT 101 with 28mm f 3.5 Celtic, Tri-X

Got out my mint condition 28mm Celtic (MC) for the above photo. This one has a metal lens cap.

Slightly different view of same area with same gear and film.

Although I have faster lenses, I still enjoy this little gem.

I like photographing classic gear with classic gear so here's my Olympus Trip 35 as seen by SRT 101 and 100mm macro

And a shot with the Olympus

Having been impressed by the Kodak T-Max 400 in the 120 roll, I bought a few rolls in the 35mm size, and here some results from the first outing . The camera was a Canon T90 fitted with a Tamron Adaptall II SP 28-80mm f/3.5-4.2 (27A) lens, and the film was developed in PMK Pyro. So far, the results look promising; the grain is about as fine as the Arista EDU Ultra100 I frequently use, and the images are possibly a little "sharper" with a good tonal range and an effective increase in film speed of one stop.

Here are some from the Yashica-12 TLR , using Kodak T-Max 400 developed in PMK Pyro. Taken around our local art gallery, I rather like the supplementary galleries they have created using shipping containers. The play of light and shadows fascinates me...
