rick_drawbridge
Yesterday morning I went to town, and later took the long way home through some of our picturesque wine producing country. Some time ago I'd spotted an old deserted cottage standing alone in a field and earmarked it as possible subject for some photographs and, while the light wasn't quite ideal, I took a few experimental shots, along with some others of the surrounding countryside. I shall return... Meanwhile, here are a few samples; the camera was a Mamiya 645 1000s with the 55-110mm Mamiya Sekor f/4.5 lens, the film was Ilford HP5 Plus developed in PMK Pyro and the scans are from an Epson V700 Photo using Silverfast SE software. I wonder who lived here... Hinekura Te Kairanga Wine Country The Coachman's Cottage

richard_
recently went down to Norfolk, Va to check on a few things + wanted to photo some of the Classic Art Deco theaters too. 3 pics of the Naro theatre built by William Wilder and opened in Feb. 1936; about 500 seats. Originally was called the "Colley" - as it was on Colley street. When Robert Levine brought it in the 60's he changed to 'Naro' after his parents: NAthan and ROse. (Inside the lobby are a couple of 8x10 photographs of them. Nikon fg 35/2.8 hp5 and portra 400...

Kent Shafer
From the New York World's Fair in the summer of 1965. Yashica Penta J, 50mm f/2Auto Yashinon, Kodachrome II. You could only see the Pietà from a moving walkway that took you around one revolution and then spilled you back outside. So with the camera motion and slow film, this isn't the sharpest image ever. Still, it was a memorable experience, and I'm happy to have any image at all. Edited November 3, 2017 by Kent Shafer

chuck_foreman1
Ok.. I can play again... I can scan now... I shot a relatively new to me Vito B. I shot this in the Spring and was much happier with the results. Here I have had an "issue" with framing with slight frame over lap at least once every five frames..but not really consistent. Also the sharpness seems a degree to two less than before. Anyhow This is purported Kentmere 100 sold in the local drug store as Agfa APX100. This was souped in Rodinal and scanned with my used but new V500 ,,,,Yaayy
