Film Camera Week for May 29

Recommended Posts

Greetings all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. I'll start with some color images that I recently received from Dwayne's. Film was Fuji Superia 200 and camera was a Rollei B35. I shot this film nearly two years ago, but misplaced it.

The Rollei B35 is easy to keep up with since it is light and I have a case for it that clips to a belt. Selenium meter still accurate.

Some photos taken over the fall and winter with the BelOMO Agat 18k 1/2 frame, ColorPlus 200. Processing by Dwayne's Photo.

I continue to be impressed with the quality of images from this tiny camera. In 4x6 prints, the results compare favorably to some of the better full-frame compact 35's I've used. Applying flocking to the inside of the camera and using a lens hood does help, I think.

Some from a Minolta XD7 with a Tamron Adaptall II SP 28-80mm f/3.5-4.2 (Model 27A) lens. The film was Ilford FP4 Plus developed in Pyrocat HD.

I ended up at Coney Island a couple weeks back. Was w with a buddy and from his film-packed fridge, plucked a roll of Provia 100. 1st time shooting color reversal film, I'm well pleased with the results. Camera was the Hasselblad 500cm with the 80mm Planar lens.

this last one was overexposed, but not quite fully blown out. I made some minor adjustments, and in the end, I think it's OK. I was talking to some folks on a FB photo group about Velvia vs Provia and the general agreement was that Provia is a bit more friendly in terms of being able to make adjustments to scans. A wee bit more forgiving, perhaps. If this is any indication, I'm inclined to believe it.
