Film Camera Week for May 24

Recommended Posts

Greetings all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. Technical information always a plus. I'll start with some images that I processed and scanned earlier in the week.

One more for now. Since I've finished the school year I've got lots of time so I plan to take lots of photos.

Here are a few from a Canon T90 fitted with a 28-80mm Tamron SP f/3.5-4.2 lens (Model 27a). The film was Arista EDU 100 developed in PMK Pyro.

I really like the tones in the truck photo Rick!

Has everyone else already noticed that photo.net is allowing larger file uploads? I uploaded my last pair of shots (3 or 4Mb) forgetting to reduce to my usual 900x900 pixels

Thanks Xicara! No, I hadn't noticed the increase in permissible image size; I usually go for 1000 wide or 850 pixels deep. I have been getting the occasional rejection at these sizes with a "too big for server" notice, but a second attempt is usually successful. Excellent image of the steps and rail; I wish I'd taken that!

Great work from that Tamron zoom, Rick. My next Tamron zoom, if I can find one, will be the 24-48 f 3.5-3/8.

Your work with Arista EDU 100 developed in PMK Pyro continues to impress.

JDM- keep those Kodachromes coming. While I'm on summer vacation I hope to scan some of my Kodachromes.

The keeping quality of Kodachrome is amazing. I have Kodachromes that my dad took during the 1950's with his Voigtlander Vitessa L. My first photos with Kodachrome was Kodachrome-X in 126 with my Instamatic 124. My first Kodachrome II was a roll I shot in my dad's Mamiya Sekor 1000 TL. I had a 35mm camera of my own by the time Kodak went to K14 process. Shot a fair amount of Kodacrome 64 in my Konica Auto S2. My family's camera shop stocked Kodak film so our slower seller films might expire so my dad would give me all that I wanted. I recall shooting a few rolls of Kodachrome 25 that were just past date.
