Film Camera Week for May 17

Recommended Posts

Greetings all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film cam era. I'll start with some images that I processed and scanned earlier this week. Camera was Minolta SRT 101 with 55mm f 1.7 MC Rokkor.upload_2019-5-16_4-33-14.jpeg.b1d6e1921b8cd5313e2bed3c71b8c8d5.jpeg

Parking over the line (happens a lot in West Point)

Pattern on Highway 50 West (maybe a marking for remote sensing?)

Magnolia leaves

While not especially close focusing for a fast prime, the 55mm f1.7 Rokkor can get close enough for many uses.

New audio system in minivan. (Already attracting dust as emphasized by late afternoon sun) Cropped slightly.

One more.

Spraying for mosquitoes (probably doesn't help that much)

Looking forward to seeing everyone's images.

Dodging between Autumn downpours, I managed to shoot some Kentmere 100 with a Nikon FE and a 35-70mm Zoom-Nikkor f/3.5-4.5. The film was developed in PMK Pyro and scanned on an Epson V700 using Silverfast SE software.

Here are some more photos from the same roll of Adox CMS 20 that I used last week. This is a very slow film by modern standards, but it does give a nice tonal range when developed in its AdoxTech developer.

Nikon F90 Nikkor 28-85, Adox CMS 20 II, Adotech II developer, Epson V800 with Viewscan software.

Those are really excellent monochromes, Greg, challenging what one could expect from Pan F 50 or the old Panatomic-X. I've always been a fan of Adox film.

Here are a few frames from the Praktica MTL-3 with the 35mm Super-Takumar f/3.5 lens I pictured in the "What camera are you using..." thread. I don't think I have another 35mm lens that performs much better. The film was Kentmere 100 developed in PMK Pyro.

A few from a roll of Rollei Pan 25 that I processed in HC110 dilution H. Camera was Olympus XA.

Propped up XA and set self timer. Electronic shutter did the rest.

Do the missing letters remind anyone of a popular game show?
