That Cosina seems to perform very well for a brand that doesn't get much respect.

  6. Thank you. Thanks to dave too, getting close to the Rick's quality of pictures is a huge compliment.
Well camera used at most is Nikon F , 50mm 1.4
Kentmere 100 , developer D76 and kodak pro fixer. I do last wash only with distilled water and leave the film in for few minutes. The film is always coming out sparkling clean.
Scanning is done with Epson V700 and I use the software that came with it.
I use professional mode , scanning with film holder , 800 dpi , medium unsharp mask and high dust removal are checked automatically on every scan.
I scan in 48-bit Color , regardless that this is black and white film . This is the same settings used all the time.

  9. Great images this weekend; just love the "Nantucket Harbour" shot, Kent. Following a dull, overcast week we now have a wet and chilly weekend... Not many photo opportunities over the past couple of weeks, really. However, I've delved into some of the many folders on this computer that contain images I've scanned and never finished, and I'll post a few from the "Bronica S2a" folder. I'll note the lenses with the images; in all cases the film was Ilford HP5 Plus, developed in PMK Pyro.

  13. Great car shots, Don. Love the '69 Mach 1. My first car was a '69 Mustang coupe with the 302 2bbl and 3 speed automatic. While it was faster than what most of my friends were driving, the current V6 versions of Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger would handily outperform it I'm sure. No easy way to test it of course.
  14. My wife had a hip replaced on Friday so of course my shooting is about non existent at the moment. I did though find my Ilford 4x5 pinhole today and loaded it with Foma 200. Just a dumb photo of the backyard shed. I don't have a clue as to the pattern on the edges though the film has been hanging around awhile.
  15. My wife had that last October so I understand your situation. I hope everything goes well for both of you.

  18. Hello again. Saturday I took off into the Kakaako District of Honolulu with the Fed-2 / Jupiter-8 with what "I thought" was Kentmere 400. . .After Sunday's Market I opened the camera & . . Horror's ! The roll was Kentmere 100. . so an extra 3 minutes was tacked on to the OA development (19 total). A bit dicey in the shadows, but the scan's were OK for the majority. Here are a few.
