Mike Gammill
Greetings all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you want from any film camera. I'll start with some film I processed earlier in the week. Camera was Minolta SRT SCII with 55mm f 1.7 MC Rokkor. Film was cold-stored Plus-X. Izumi jumping up to chase laser pointer, also used Vivitar 383 flash a local hardware store in downtown West Point, MS flag flying in breeze, also in West Point Going to miss Plus-X as I only have a few rolls left. But I also like FP4+ shadows in afternoon sun behind the buildings looking toward park (also in West Point) Window display That's all for now. I'm on spring break for a week so I hope to take a lot of photos as well as develop and scan. Looking forward to seeing everyone's images. not sure how the hardware store posted twice

Don Harpold
Hello These from my recent thrift store pick up, a Minolta XG1 with 50mm Rokkor-X 1.7, the shutter was cocked but would not fire so I checked Butkus and the manual stated it would not without batteries, so I asked what they could do on it and they took it down from 10.00 to 7.00, I took it home put a couple of batteries in and works fine. HP5 in HC-110 B Some came out a little over but ok for a first try. Thanks Don

Ricochetrider
Hi all, I'd been waiting to see some scans froth lab, of my shots with the old Voigltnader folding Bessa, I got a few rolls of ancient Svema 32 film, and wanted to see how it looked before shooting any more. Well the answer is.... not great. Have a look. These are 2 shots of different bridges near my home. The big stone arch bridge is the Rockville Bridge, a massive bridge that may be a mile long- as that's roughly how wide the Susquehanna River is around here! The much daintier iron bridge, seen below, is the Walnut Street Bridge, now for pedestrians only, crossing the east side of the river from City Island to our capitol city of Harrisburg .Some years ago, the west side of this bridge going from City Island to Wormleysburg, Pennsylvania, was carried away by rising waters and broken ice after a huge rainstorm caused the ice dams to break up as the river levels rose dramatically. The river lifted the old iron bridge straight off its piers, swept it downstream maybe 150 yards or so to modern bridge, and folded the old bridge beneath the new one! Here's a video for you of the event. But I'm a bit bummed that this film is so badly damaged. I've shot some other old expired film as have a bunch of my buddies and none of it ever came out this bad. Maybe this is from the area around Chernobyl! Mike Gammill
Great start to our new thread, everyone. I have a few from a roll I developed yesterday and scanned this afternoon. Minolta SRT 101 the Minolta MD 24-50 f 4 and HP5+. part of music exhibit at Mississippi State University The 24-50 isn't exactly an available light lens for next image I set it on the stair rail and shot at 1/8 second wide open at f 3 cannon from Ulysses S. Grant c ollection old phonograph, also part of music collection The 24-50 is not a close focusing lens. Looking down to next floor in library
