Film Camera Week for March 20

  1. I already posted done shot from the latest scans I got the other day, up in the 365 day thread, so I have a coupe for this thread. This is Kodak Portra 160, shot on the Hasselblad 500cm with the 80 mm lens, I do believe. Almost all of this roll I was shooting inside my house under low light conditions, or making a warp attempt at semi-cloe-up shots- and with the still life, you cans how that didn't work out so well.

    interior detail, living room
in which I was kind of caught off guard by the way the glass coffee table played in this shot, oh well back to the drawing board.

meanwhile I still have 3 rolls of scans coming in at some point, so soon enough I should have some more pix to show from both the Hasselblad and the R3m rangefinder.
  2. I’ve only been down that street one time. It’s been 13 years. Funny how that image stuck in my head.
    Never been inside.
Good stuff. If memory serves that is where Elvis’ first guitar came from.

this was somewhat underexposed. I mitigated it, somewhat, by auto correcting the light and adding a "silvertone" filter, using only native iMac photo editor

  9. Moving On said
Yes, Elvis did buy his first guitar at that hardware store. I think he was 11 years old.

  10. Thanks Rick
  11. A few more to keep things moving.
abandoned store in Pheba, Mississippi, Maxxum 8000i with Maxxum 100-200 f 4.5, HP5+
    Pheba Post Office, same gear
old shed same location and gear
And taking the short drive to Starkville, MS
wide view of Stromboli's, 8000i with Tamron 24-70, HP5+(my youngest son works part time here)
  12. Didn't finish the roll in the Yashica 635 over the weekend. And now we're basically on lock-down until June 1st, I doubt I'll get the chance until then.

Another test shot from a week ago, The parents' house, with the Reflex-Korelle and 8cm f/2.8 Tessar.
  13. Here's a couple old ones I dug out of the stash and scanned for this week. Hasselblad 500c/m 40mm Distagon, I don't recall which developer.

    California junkyard photos.

  14. Thanks! The Bronica RF645 is becoming one of, if not my utmost favorite street machine, having great ergonomics, glass, and the MF advantage.

Nice south central PA shots as well.

  15. Had a roll of Kodak Vision 3 in 250D (35mm, 24 exp) waiting for development, finally found a place to do actual ECN-2 process. Got the scans today, so here are a couple shots. Most of the images were a bit off kilter, but I like the "sloppy" edge/presentation bit the processing lab put on, and I like the nicely muted winter color tones, too.
    Voigtlander R3m Camera,
    Voigltander 40mm Nokton Classic lens

Three Mile Island, 2 of 4 reactors

and Grafton, Vermont: road to nowhere

  16. Time for a few more images before new thread starts tomorrow. Here's a few from the Rollei B35. Film was Ilford FP4+
Allen Hall at Mississippi State University. When I was an undergraduate there in the mid to late 1970's this building was said to be the biggest energy user. Don't know if it still holds that dubious honor.
    McComas Hall
Pokemon Go players on MSU campus
  17. Few pics from the Kodak Chevron camera. Ektar 100 film
