rick_drawbridge
Here are a few from last weekend's expedition with a KMZ Zenit B fitted with a 58mm Helios 44-2 f/2 lens. The film was Kentmere 100 developed in PMK Pyro. Despite the cumbersome and somewhat hit or miss procedure of using a pre-set lens on a hand-held camera, I was pleased with the results from the old lens. Ricochetrider
Hi everyone. Hare are two recents from the 1930s Voigtlander Bessa. Didn't really nail the focus most of the time here, but these two came out alright, I think. Kodak VPS 100 film, long expired- around late 1980s, IIRC. It's an uphill battle with this camera, I feel like there's a lot of "nuance" in learning to use it- mostly with the zone focusing, and also in making certain the tiny, swiveling viewfinder is in its proper position- as you can see in both images, I'm off-center. After some thought, I believe the swiveling view finder thingy was perhaps tilted a tiny bit? That said, I'm pleased with these two shots, and am having fun with a camera that is not only so small and light, but also easily creates double exposures (this time on purpose!)---- so here they are for your perusal. Cheers!
