Film Camera Week for February 12

Discussion in 'Classic Manual Cameras' started by Mike Gammill, Feb 11, 2021.

  1. Greetings, all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the photos you like from any film camera. I'll start with some shots from a roll of Kentmere 100 that I processed and scanned this week.
winter trees, Maxxum XTSI with Maxxum 35-70 f 4, cropped slightly
downtown restaurant in West Point, same gear
store fronts, Barnes Crossing area (new Tupelo), same gear
early morning near back entrances of stores, West Point, XTSI with Maxxum 28mm f 2.8
The Maxxum 35-70 f 4 was a first generation Maxxum lens so like its wider range siblings (28-85 and 35-105) close focus was manual but with AF indicator assistance, It can focus down to 1:4. A couple of shots using close focus.
    banana peel
steering wheel emblem (missed focus a bit on this one)
That's all for now. Looking forward to seeing everyone's images.

From our one week of 'deep snow' with the Olympus PEN-F,
    With a standard 38mm f/1.8 Auto-S and some Rollei RPX 25

It's all starting to melt now, we'll be back to +10C later this week.

  17. A few shots from our current "winter weather event". Minolta XE-5 with MD Celtic 28mm f 2.8 and Kentmere 100
Trying to defrost windshield in van (heat doesn't work). Check engine light playing host to five error codes. However, audio system works great.
More sleet than snow this time. Actually thawed the van out enough to drive it today.
Icicles are rare in north central Mississippi.
Even under the carport sleet accumulated. (I don't drive this car on frozen roads as it's rear drive with over 300 horsepower.)
    slippery street
Great images everyone. New thread starts day after tomorrow. We got a couple of days off for winter weather so I hope to have some more new images.
