Film Camera Week for December 10

Recommended Posts

Greetings, all, and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. I'll start with a few from a roll I processed and scanned over the weekend. Film was Ilford HP5+ and camera was Minolta XE-7 with 35mm f 2.8 MC Rokkor.

Two more from the Konica FP-1 Program but with a different lens, the Hexanon AR 40/1.8. Fujicolor 200 film.

I didn't keep this lens as the 50/1.8 that came with this camera was in better shape. I like the 40mm focal length, and it's a fine performer, but so is the 50mm. Build quality also seems a bit cheaper on the 40mm.

I've also restored a Konica FT-1 Motor that wasn't working and may do a separate post on that later.

Mike I keep going back to the 2nd and 3rd shots in your post. Beautiful tones and exposure. What developer did you use with the HP5?

As days get shorter (and less sunlight) I'm finding that I'm relying more on Ilford HP5+ or Tri-X especially if using a zoom lens. Still running an occasional roll of Kentmere 100 through my fixed lens rangefinder cameras.

Some from the Yashica FX-3 Super 2000 with the 50mm Yashica ML f/2 lens that I showed recently in the "What camera..." thread. The film was Ilford FP4 Plus developed in PMK Pyro.

Rick, please post some shots with living creatures. I would be interested in the results.
