Film Camera Week for August 5

Discussion in 'Classic Manual Cameras' started by Mike Gammill, Aug 4, 2022.

  1. Greetings, all, and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. I'll start with some shots from a roll of HP5+ that I processed and scanned yesterday. Camera was a Pentax ZX-7 with 50mm f 2.8 Macro.
chalk sign on a hot day
    shrub (Starkville)
    shop window (also in Starkville)
crossing, Main St. West Point, used a deep yellow filter
    One more
refueling time for camera and for me (cropped) Overhead light with two 75 equivalent LEDs.
Looking forward to seeing everyone's images.
  2. An unusually prolonged spell of winter rain and dull light has meant that I've been able to shoot only one film in the last two weeks, late on a rare sunny afternoon. Here are some samples; the camera was a Canon T90 with a 28-80mm Soligor CD f/3.9-4.9 lens, and the film was Kentmere 100 developed in PMK Pyro

  9. I decided to re-open the darkroom. I revamped a small Durst enlarger that is more friendly to my still healing new shoulder than the larger rigs. I have chosen 6x9 on 8x10 fiber (fibre) matte paper. This is a scan of a print made yesterday. Film was Tmax 400.

  10. A few photos from London recently. I had only one camera and one lens for one month: Nikon FA, Nikkor 50/1.2, Fujifilm Reala 100, Cinestill CS41 home processing.

  11. @Mike Gammill incidentally I just ordered two rolls of Rollei Retro 80S film to try out. Have you already gotten any interesting results from it?
  12. Bruce- check June 10th "Film Camera Week" for some 80S images.

  15. Some from the Minolta XD-7 with the Minolta MD 35-70mm f/3.5 lens I pictured in the "What camera..." thread. The film was Kentmere 100 developed in PMK Pyro.

  16. Great beginning, everyone. Looking forward to seeing more images. Also, if you have an extra image consider posting it in the 365 day thread.
  17. I took the N80 and AFD 35 F2 loaded with HP5+ out for a walk this morning. Developed in Pyro-metol 1-1-50.
