I'm a great fan of the Auto S2, Mike, and you've done it justice. I'm currently in lock down due to you-know-what, but here are some from a Minolta Dynax / Maxxum A7 that I shot last weekend. The film was Ilford FP4 Plus developed in PMK Pyro and the lenses were a Minolta 100-200mm f/4.5, or a Vivitar Series 1 19-35mm f/3.4-4.5.

Thanks, Rick. I hope you are able to end the lock down soon. I've probably praised the Maxxum 100-200 before, but in your hands it really sparkles. The Vivitar 19-35 is a great lens as well, although sometimes underappreciated. I think it was sold under several brands. I have a Tamron 19-35 in EOS mount and I wonder if it might be the same lens as the Vivitar.

Helios w/Arsenal MC Converter K-2N

I don't use teleconverters often, but have been impressed with this one. It doesn't seem to degrade image quality at all, and the optics are removable so that the barrel can be used as an auto extension tube.

I think you're right about that, Mike. To the best of my knowledge the lens was produced by Cosina and sold under a variety of brands, including Vivitar, Tamron, Promaster, Quantaray, Rokinon, and Phoenix.

My apologies for the long absence. Have been remodeling the house and the old desktop attached to the V700 has been out of commission. For now I have replaced it with a laptop and a Plustek 8100. Info on this photo is Nikon FM3a, 35mm F2. Film was Adox 20 developed in Adox Tech for 5 min @ 68F. Shot on 4/4/2010. (Not sure about the brown tone here. Have not used Silverfast for years and admit I do not know the software at all.

In Silverfast, have you set the Scan Type to "16-> Grayscale" ? Your image looks rather like a BW neg scanned in RGB.

Meanwhile, just to keep things moving along, here are three images from a Yashica 230 camera with a 28-85mm Yashica (Kyocera) f/3.5-4.5 lens. The film was Kentmere 100 developed in PMK Pyro.

Thank Rick. I’ll need more time with the software but did find a 16bit monochrome setting. Looks good.

Great beginning to our new thread, everyone. The variety and quality of the images continues to impress.

I'm hoping I will have some new color scans arriving this week from the three rolls of Fuji Superia 200 that I send to Dwaynes. I also have a roll of Kentmere 100 in the Konica Auto S 1.6 that I will process in a day or two.
