Greetings all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. I'll start.

Fast food tables, Olympus XA with Panatomic-X.

The XA does great indoors with slow film if you have a solid surface to keep it steady. Self timer helps.

Now from recent images to some old ones. I found some 126 slides from 1969 and 1972 that I shot with a Kodak Instamatic 124. I don't think Kodak expected users of this camera to shoot slides as it has a singe aperture ( f 11) and two shutter speeds (1/90 and if a spent flashcube is in socket 1/40)

Dauphin Island, same roll of film as previous image. Apparently a film (maybe commercial) was being made as young lady had to descend the pool steps several times while filming was done.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's images.,

Still the dog days of summer, so no photos this week.

Instead, here's a Miranda Automex II, featured in the "What camera(s) are you using this weekend?" thread a few weeks ago. The selenium cell "transplant" from a Praktica worked well, and the meter is now lively and accurate. I like the little details on this camera, such as the brass cap for the flash contact.

A great start to the thread! Perhaps a little inspired by Xicara de Cafe's photographs of the Hotel Brasília Palace in Brasilia in last weeks thread, I took a series of photographs around the newly-completed additions to one of our local town halls. The architects took the bold step of merging a totally modern Scandinavian-style structure with the original 1906 building and, while the success of the project is still open to debate, it provides an interesting subject for the photographer. I'll post some images from the series.

The camera was a Yashica 230 AF with a 28-85mm Yashica Kyocera f/3.5-4.5 lens and the film was Arista EDU Ultra 200 developed in PMK Pyro.

Here's one more 126 transparency- Kodachrome-X from 1969. Photo is my dad and my younger brother. Car is a 1969 Impala purchased from my uncle who had a Chevrolet dealership in Eupora, MS for many years. I took my driving test in that car. Can't tell from the photo but my dad clearly is holding a camera and light meter.

This slide seems to have picked up more grit during storage than the others.
