derek_simpson
As of this morning my 1D MkII which used to number files "GTO6xxxx" is suddenly and for no apparent reason naming them "_TO6xxxx" - it's always unsettling when these things start to think for themselves - but is it a sign of something more worrying ? peter_white2
Did you change your color space to Adobe RGB?
sage_major
I have the same issue with a 20D Some of my photos are named IMG_xxxx and some are _MG_xxxx not sure why. It is anoying for sorting items when you dont empty the CF after a specific outing.
john_stark
Did you go over 9999? that may change it so you don't get the same file names.
john_stark
According to the manual for the 1D MKII N Page #63 bottom in the box for notes: If the captured image was shot in Adobe RGB color space, the first character in the file name will be an underscore (_). So to "fix" it go to your menu and change your color space back to sRGB and thats it. Reading the manual can reveal all kinds of little tid bits JS
