vrankin
Just got back from a first fall outing with a newfound Sony Alpha A200 (truly mint!) purchased on eBay. Here's my favorite shot of the day - "Vivid" custom setting, jpeg and just a bit of shadow enhancement in Aperture 2. Would enjoy seeing some of your Minolta/Sony fall captures.

paul_de_ley
It's actually spring where I'm at in Brazil south of the equator, so the dead leaves in the background of this shot are as close as I can get to fall colors ^o^

brettdeacon
I went to the Tetons last weekend and captured the one posted below, and this 15-shot vertical stitched panorama: http://www.brettdeacon.com/photo.php?id=514&gallery=GrandTetons. Both taken with the Sony a900. I LOVE this camera!

bill_caulfeild_browne
Brett, I was at Oxbow a week before you - lots of forest fire smoke and no snow - your pano is way better than mine so here is my sunset shot from a different location.

bill_caulfeild_browne
For some reason, my post looks much darker on this forum than on my screen, so I'm reposting with a brighter image.

bill_caulfeild_browne
And as the title of this thread is Fall colors, here's one from near Lake Superior last week. 70-400 G at 300 mm.

brettdeacon
Hi Bill! I hope you ran into some decent colors in the Tetons. It's a great place for a fall colors. So is the North Shore, and I love the Lake Superior image you posted. Was it taken near Silver Lake, or near Gooseberry Falls State Park? I realloy miss northern Minnesota!

samn
Spent a week first part of the month in Olympic N/P. The fall color was very skimpy to begin with and then I probably missed it by a week as well. Lots of other good shots though.

This shot from Santa Cruz, CA.
