paul_gray1
I am finally taking the plunge into the RF world and discarding my Nikon F5 & 40 kilo bag with every feasible and non feasible gizmo.
I have been mesmerized by the M6 and now its time to enjoy photography.
I need some feed back from the in the know leictoneons !!!
I have been offered a M6 TTL .72 WITH A 35/1.4 Summicron ASPH , it is 4 months old and 3 films have been run through her, the price is 2900 USD is this a fair price or not.
Any help on the above would be most helpful.
Thanks paul. john_collier
I think it sounds good. Go to Don Chatterton's site to compare grey market prices:
http://donchatterton.com/
Is there a transferable warranty with the camera? Why are they selling the camera? I do not think that the passport waranty is transferable. If there is going to be troubles, it will probably be with the body's electronics. Take a series of photographes of objects at different distances with the lens wide open. This way you can check if the rangefinder and lens are coupling correctly. I LOVE my 35/1.4 Asph and use it wide open often. Stunning lens! I have a fairly new TTL and am very happy with the camera. The metering is much easier with the three diode display and being able to use TTL flash is handy too.
Cheers
