Sanford Posted May 25, 2021 Share Posted May 25, 2021 On the Coast Guard Pier we can get very close to the Sea Lions, within a few feet. There is a low fence separating the pier from the rocks and all parties, animal and human, understand the "rules". Sea Lions will sometimes get into a staring contest with you but as soon as you lift the camera to your eye, they look away, every time. Has this been your observation when photographing animals?
