reportsfromluke
My father just bought me some Kodak fixer (powdered variety in yellow bag). The expiration date is 2006.1, can I still use it without any tremendous worries? Thanks a lot best, -Regan

mike_earussi1
Powder never really expires as long as it doesn't get wet. I've used some that was over 30 years old (it was in an unopened can) that worked fine.
gene_e._mccluney
The only things that will deteriorate powdered photo chemicals are exposure to air and moisture. If any of your chemicals are still in sealed cans or bags, and they still feel loose and granular then they will work OK.
