martin_pistor
Hi folks, anyone already got the new Gossen Digiflash? I`m really addicted to my old profisix in the way to handle it, but interested in size of this new Gizmo. Of course I`would let it at home in the evening (EV 0 is just bright ;-). So what is your experience especially in handling? Thanx Martin
michael_hohner
I was wondering, too, how handling this thing actually is like. Judging from the data sheet it only meters EV values, and you then have to turn the large dial manually to the metered EV value and can then read suitable aperture/time value pairs from the dial. This seems a bit awkward to me.
gary_frost1
When you are used to the best meter readout in the world, it is hardto imagine what it would be like to use something that gives you anEV and a couple LCD dots for 1/3, 2/3 stop over. How crypticafter using the Gossen 'Null' meter. No problem setting an EV dial and reading the shutterspeed/fstops from there: I wouldn't want it any other way! I've been looking at the digisix for the same reason: size. ...But no, I have not tried using one yet. I'm spoiled too ;^)
