Exhibit A

Recommended Posts

Hi, I?ve been an avid reader of this forum for three years or so now, and I?ve

found it an inspirational resource ? in all this time I?ve never made a posting

myself.

Now I need your help ? I?m planning an exhibition of my photographs here in

the UK in the autumn (figure that time of year people look for things to do

indoors). I?m planning to show around thirty photographs, mostly taken with

an M6 and 35mm summicron. My question is this, many of the pictures I?ve

taken over the years feature people that I?ve met ? chance encounters ?

unusual situations. How do I stand legally (bearing in mind I will be governed

by UK law). Can I publicly show pictures of people without their consent? My

aim of having an exhibition is to let people see my work but I may offer the

pictures for sale ? am I legitimately allowed to sell someone?s image without

their written consent?

Any advice would be great I?m also baffled about copyright ? if I sell a picture

? how do I maintain copyright over it??

Here?s a pic ? I?m so sorry its not a leica shot ? all my M6 pictures show

people ? OHHH the paranoia!!

(Hope I?ve got this right)

Duncan, fine photograph with a terrific tonal range. Post some more if you have time for it, please.

Do not have any comments on your queery though.

The most important thing for me would be to put copyright-stamps with my full address on the back of all my prints ...

Good luck with your project.

Best regards
