Hi guys,

Barricaded inside in the whiteout conditions smashing the UK I was scanning the net and was wondering if anyone had seen this new Kickstarter from Blind Spot Gear for their Scorpion Lights?

Having already played about with their Tile Light I'm excited to try out their new light. Looks like a really nice versatile set up, ideal for interview set ups and lighting on the go. Really love the gooseneck idea, haven't really seen anything else comparable on the market. Thoughts?

What's 'exiting' about a GU10 led?

They cost around 3 quid each without the gooseneck and superclamp. Throw in a small 12v battery and you've pretty much got for £50 what Blind Spot are selling for, what, £250?

LED lights are pretty useless for stills, where a small speedlight beats this sort of weedy little spot hands down.

Do you work for Blind Spot by any chance Tom?
