tracie_howe
Hi everyone! Just looking at approaching some publications with my work, but most require you to provide a stock photo list. I did a Google search, but all I managed to turn up are stock photo companies. I'd just like to see a few examples to understand how to categorize and lay it all out. Does anyone have any resources to share? If it helps, my subjects are mostly in the travel, landscape, hiking, outdoors, and cityscapes, but I do have more. Charles_Webster
Are you looking for assignments or are you looking to sell/license existing photos? If the latter, that's "stock photography" and they are asking for a list or gallery of your available work.
tracie_howe
Thanks for your response, Charles. I am interested in both, but selling and licensing regarding this question. A "list" is specifically what I've seen requests for when a gallery isn't. I'm just wondering how best to organize my list. In one example I saw only text, no images, but there were categories and subcategories. The example didn't really help with my type of work though, which is why I'd like to see a couple more examples.
Charles_Webster
I would organize my list using the same categories that the stock agency uses in its galleries. But I've never heard of a stock agency wanting a text list without photos accompanying.
