darryl_romm
Hi Can anyone confirm that Epson Premium Lustre is in fact the same as Epson Premium Semi Gloss. I'm based in UK, and can't find Premium Lustre at all on the Epson UK website Thanks in advance.
KenPapai
I would say they are the same thing as the Premium Luster paper is a semigloss.
don_cooper
They are different papers, very similar but different, both available here in the U.S.
stephen_bay
The surface of the luster is a bit more pebbly. But otherwise they are pretty similar.
ira_wunder
Just a note. With the new K-3 ink-set the remaining spectral highlight problem, or what may be known as the gloss differencial, and the bronzing with grayscale printing on glossy surfaces that has been highly reduced will show more on a RC paper with the most bite, may I suggest a semi-mat RC if a glossy dosen't fit the purpose. ray
These are indeed two different papers. As you can see from this table, they have different characteristics.
peter_dendrinos1
I have printed on both here in the US and they are different papers. They reflect light differently, they have different surfaces, and in my opinion the Luster is a nicer look. I dont think one would run both types. I think you would select one or the other and go with it. Pete
