chris_newkumet2
I've long been intrigued with the Epson storage/viewers, and the P-3000 currently is being offered at a very attractive price. I like the design of the unit, and understand the speed of download and picture viewing is significantly improved from its predecessor. In attempting to justify this toy, I'd like to know if anyone has used it extensively as a digital movie viewer -- something that would serve as a useful airline companion. I'm told it plays movies, but I'm wondering whether it's very good at that.
vancouver_wedding_portrait
I have bought mine a year ago and works fine but only complain is it will not play quicktime files. Divx is fine. You need to find a program to convert the quicktime files to .mov or Divx which takes few hours to encode. Epson web site not much help for update on the mov format; other than that it works great for review my photos and Divx movies. Hope that help, Merry Christmas.
chris_newkumet2
Thanks, Wayne... forgive my ignorance on this... but am I able to upload movies from DVDs I already own? If so, how do I do that?
