nano_burger
My take on resolving the dreaded (early) EOS sticky shutter problem. Hope this helps someone out there!

http://www.instructables.com/id/Manage-Your-EOS-Cameras-Sticky-Shutter/

John Seaman
Daniel, thanks for your excellent write up. I've done it in almost exactly the same way, but using strips of newspaper to clean between the shutter blades.
nano_burger
John,
Yeah, my way is only one way to solve the problem. I did the write up because I did not see any visual instructions although there is plenty written on the subject.
The great thing I've found is that KEH are almost giving away bodies with this problem. It is obviously not worth their time to fix.

maderik
I wish I had known this two weeks ago - it would have saved me from two blank rolls of film as my 10S shutter seized up.
JDMvW
Thanks. So far I've managed to dodge this one, even with all the old EOS cameras I've accumulated, but somethings are just waiting to happen, as it seems.
