jamison_boyer
I recently updated my Canon EOS M to the latest firmware 2.02 with ML installed. Initially everything went fine, the firmware update went through, and worked okay alongside ML. After powering down the camera for a few weeks, I tried to turn it on today, and all I got was the rapidly blinking LED light and me camera will no longer boot into the menu.

Any ideas?
alan_bryant1
As far as I understand Magic Lantern, all you have to do to remove it is pop out the SD card. Have you tried that?
Marcus Ian
Since ML runs on top of the Camera's OS, it is specifically compatible with certain FW versions and not compatible with other FW versions (on the same camera). ML's web site details which versions it works with and which it doesn't work with for each model.
Sometimes new FW versions are a bit buggy (when ML is run also).

If you want ML more than the new FW, just 'back date' your FW to the previous stable version. it should be fine.
