JosvanEekelen
I have recently bought an EOS M and for the moment I'm quite happy with it as a supplement to my EOS DSLR set. After reading the manual some settings still keep me puzzled. This concerns Auto Lighting Optimizer, Highlight tone priority and Lens aberration correction (Peripheral Illumination and Chromatic Aberration Correction). I always photograph in RAW, the question is if these settings also control the RAW image or only the JPG's. The manual is not very clear about this. Normally I would correct these in Lightroom.
joseph_dickerson
I believe you'll find that these only affect JPEGs. If you shoot RAW you'll still need to do the corrections in Lightroom, or whichever software you utilize.
At least that's my understanding.
JD
