kevin_birley
The LCD screen on my 10s constantly flashes "ISO." The film speed is correct, all Custom Functions are off. There's no bracketing happening as far as I can tell. What's up? <p> Sorry if this is a stupid question! <p> Thanks!Kevin
bobatkins
It's a long time since I used a 10s, but doesn't it do this if you manually set ISO rather than use the automatic DX coding? I guess it's to remind you you have overriden the automatic setting.
chris_gillis
For the EOS 5 this means that the camera was not able to use the DX coding and the camera set the ISO to the last roll of DX film sent through it. I found this happening with several rolls of Velvia for some reason. Fortunately, I was shooting the same speed, so when it reverted to the last roll's speed it was the same as the current rolls. I have not idea why this is, but I have not stared at my camera yet to figure it out. <p> So, Flashing ISO means that you should check the ISO on the camera to make sure it is the correct speed. If this is a persistent problem, have the body checked out.
