matthew_stanton2
Would anyone have experience with enlarging fortepan or bergger 200 from an 8x10" negative? I will be processing the film in id-11 1:1 and hope to get a nice 20x24" print with minimal grain. Perhaps I would be better off using hp5+ for such an enlargement size as i understand that the older style films can be a bit grainy ( I have so far only used them for contact prints. ) Any advice would be appreciated. donald_miller1
I have enlarged the Bergger BPF 200 in 4X5 to 11X14 in prints with no apparent grain. I would think that you should be able to handle at least your desired print size with it. I develop my film in ABC Pyro by inspection.
psychophoto
I second what Donald said. I've printed to 16x20 with 4x5" Bergger BPF negatives without any problems with grain.
geoffrey_james
A more general answer would be that there should be no problem in a 3 times enlargement from any kind of film.
