Efke 100 B&W 127 film

Recommended Posts

Most people seem to recommend Rodinal for Ekfe 100. I found that Rodinal was too grainy and did not give the nominal speed. On the other hand, I found HC-110, Dilution B worked pretty well for my R100 shots in 127 (in my Yashica 44-LM). Shot at EI 100, developed for 6:00 at 68 deg. F / 20 deg. C, the results were fine--you just have to deal with the horrible film curl, and don't forget to pre-soak the film in water for one minute. If I were using this combination today, I'd be tempted to try DD-X at EI 125 or maybe even 160. I cannot recall what time I figured I'd need, but if you want, I can probably dig up my never-tried guestimate.
