rich815
Look at these prices! http://stores.ebay.com/TUA-Used-Photo-Equip
sattler123
I always wonder who would buy from these sellers - his stuff is at least 100% overpriced, BUT someone must be laying out the cash. There is another seller from Germany who regularly overcharges. It is the same phenomenon as people buying gas at the most expensive gas station in town when they can get it 20 cents cheaper just across the street. christopher_dold
"Karl Zeiss Jean" Does crack affesct your eyesight ? Possibly the other prices are affected in the same way, with the decimal point in the wrong place. Mind you, there's a charity shop near me that's asking 25GBP (50$ US) for a Zenit B. rich815
I think I know which German seller you mean but I think his stuff is top class at least. This guy? 100% overpriced? At a minimum. Used bulk loaders that you see for $10 regularly he's asking over $100!
elmarfudd
Item photographs could be a little better for what he/she is charging. Interesting business model though : )
Andrew in Austin
This seller knows his stuff. He or she has a Leica 35mm film "script" projector up for grabs. It's listed that way twice. So, I doubt if he meant to say a film strip projector. Best Regards - Andrew in Austin, TX
mark feldstein
I think the guy specializes in selling to customers who are also in the oil biz. M.
todd frederick
I have bought and sold many items on eBay under the ID of mrtoady. When I sell items I try my best to check the current selling prices and price my items fairly. I notice that TUA is selling a Minolta SRT202 for $289.95 (which seems to be a basic price for many of his items). A few years ago I tried to sell my professionally painted black enamel Minolta SRT101b with new red-ring lizard leather and totally adjusted to use S76 batteries. The highest bid I received was $26. I still have this beautiful camera and don't plan to sell it. These eBay ads cost money to post and TUA has many. He must be selling something. I'd like to know who buys them. He lives near me in the San Francisco Bay Area. I may contact him and see what response I get.
phil_sutcliffe
This guy has only got 93% feedback on 185 sales since 1998. Thats about 13 duff deals. He's currently listing about 200 items which is more than he's sold in about 10 years! Hardly a proffessional !
grapegeek
It might be that someone has stolen his account and has made up all these listings. If you notice, no matter what the item, the prices are similar. I got scammed this way many years ago on eBay...
ted_kozak
That one guy from Germany (Arssenal) has never sold anything in years. Wants three times value of cameras. Has been selling same Medalist II for 2 years now.
roger_randle
What is amusing about some eBay auctions is the way some bidders seem to go into a bidding "frenzy" and are prepared to pay way over the odds for quite ordinary items. Extraordinary! Of course if you are a real saddo like me you watch lots of items and then note what they go for - at least it gives me an idea of what people are prepared to pay!
