jacques_augustowski1
Could someone with a sound mind explain why a person would buy a usedJobo 3010 drum for $252.00 when at B&H the new drum costs $246.95 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2935305491&category=29993 Jacques ps there´s another one sold for $252.50http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2935304546&category=29993
ron c
Some people get caught up in auctions, some people have no idea what equipment cost new or used and some people are just stupid.
robert_davis2
It's worked in. Saves you all that trouble of breaking it in-) That's nothing. Last month somebody paid 2x the B&H price for a couple of dirty old trays. PLUS shipping.
brian_ellis3
Maybe B&H didn't have it in stock and they needed it quickly, maybe they and the seller are outside the U.S. and they'll save a lot on shipping, maybe they were concerned about customs or import duties if buying from a U.S. seller, who knows. More likely they got caught up in auction fever and/or just weren't aware of what these things sell for new. However, this kind of thing isn't confined to e bay. You occasionally see used itmes listed by a dealer for more than the item could be bought new or at a price so close you wonder why anyone would buy the used item. KEH does this fairly often, as did Del's when they were still around. One of the two, I foget which, used to pretty consistently list used Tachiharas for more than the Adorama new price.
