This one is with a Kodak Jiffy 620, taken inside (I was always an available light nut) in 1951

My first decent photograph from long ago. Scanned slide, Nikkormat, 135mm Vivitar. When I saw this slide my first thought was that the processor had mixed up my slides with someone else's. My second thought was, if I can do this by accident, maybe I could do it on purpose.

here is one of my first 1970 or 1971 taken with mamiya sekor 500dtl i had in school.developed and printed in school. iwas only 13 at the time.

My mother in the early 1950s...I took the picture with her newly acquired Goertz Minicord, a miniature TLR (about the size of a pack of cigarettes) using 16mm sliced film..

I used that Kodak Hawkeye (with it's simple meniscus lens) to take our 1957 photos.

1979 Flagstaff AZ, a hot air balloon in the HS parking lot. I shot this with my Minolta SRT201. I was laying on the ground so I could get the whole balloon in, waiting for the gas to be hit to light up the canopy!

 

I shot this in January, 1950 (age 10) with a cheap p&s camera. The building is a US Army R&R hotel near Yokohama, Japan. My mom and I joined my dad there when he rotated out of Korea. It was the beginning of a one-year stay in Japan.

Family shot I did with a viewfinder Kodak camera approximately early 1960's. My father's parents, my father (upper left) his two brothers and his sister and their spouses. I was about 12.

Taken with an Olympus OM-1 in the early 70s and printed in my makeshift darkroom. It hung on my wall for a number of years before disappearing only to reappear almost 50 years later.
