E-20P Start Up Problem

<p>Strangely, my Olympus E-20P will function only in "view image" mode. If I turn the camera in any mode to take photos, the red indicator flashes showing the memory card is being accessed, other than that, the camera only makes a clicking/whirring noise from the area of the lens and the LCD panel reports what I presume are error codes: 502, 284, 500, 361, 484, 084, 161.</p>

<p>I assume something is wrong with the mechanism that drives the autofocus; however, when I switch from AF to MF, the noise remains and the camera still won't operate.</p>

<p>To my knowledge, the camera has not been dropped or jarred.</p>
