DPP and Mac OS X 10.5.2 for remote shooting

Recommended Posts

I just got a new laptop and installed the DPP software (image browser, remote

utility, camera window etc) that came with my camera (5D- about 2 years old).

Then I went and got the image browser update from the canon site and still

nothing is working. The image browser will open but the camera window does not

give an option for remote capture. I can't figure it out...and I don't want to

just randomly download these all of these updates...

Do I need a different update? A different software altogether? Any ideas

appreciated :)

I bought a Canon 40d last year.

I switched to MAC and have a MBP under OS X 10.6.1
Now I have problems with Download the Updates.
info says "problem with Updater" and the process stopped. So I can not use DPP, EOS utility etc. (The software can be installed from CD, but not the updates!)
