wilhelm
I prefer the look of prints from conventional films to the smoothness of tabgrain films, but covet their sharper images and finer grain. Does Delta 100 "look" more like TMax 100 or FP4+?
ted_kaufman
There really is no answer to this question. Each of these films has its own signature look, and neither of them resembles another. I can offer the following: FP4+ has a very smooth grain pattern and a great tonal scale. Delta 100 has the sharpest look, with terrific highlight serparation. TMX the finest grain and highest resolution, with great midrange values. Each is an excellent film, unique to itself.
