hello,

i currently use the lowpro off trail bag and i am mostly happy with it. however the lowpro off-road seems

to have better protection from dirt and water and as i am about to change from analog to digital that

might be of importance. does anyone know if a camera with battery pack fits in the lowepro off-road

hipbag? from the photo

it looks a little like only cameras without battery pack might fit in but maybe there is someone here who

has the bag and knows for sure.

greetings

Dear Anton,

what specific model camera and pack? The size can vary quite a bit.

The Off Road measures 4.%" (11.5cm) front to back, so this dimension (with a cm or so of play) is what you'll compare to your camera height.

Maury - hope you're still out there...

1) what hip bag can take a D200 with battery pack (and a Kirk L bracket), and a short lens?

2) if not a hip bag, then would the above fit into a Slingshot 200?

Dear Anton,

The 5D with BG-E4 is about 6.1" tall. at 4.5" deep the Off Road will probably be too tight. Our Off Trail 2 should be able to accommodate it.

KL IX,

The Orion Beltpack may hold the D200 with grip and Kirk bracket.

The SlingShot 200 again will probably be too tight.
