Do you need slim filters for the Sony 16-50mm f/2.8?

<p>Does anyone have any experience with or information about whether the Sony 16-50mm f/2.8 (the Alpha DSLR lens, not the f/3.5-5.6 for the NEX) vignettes with standard filters?</p>

<p>I'd prefer to use regular filters, if possible. Generally, they're probably somewhat sturdier, easier to handle, and cheaper. Also, they're more readily available. But if they vignette with the lens at its widest setting, obviously that's no good.</p>
